Pure speculation on my part. And, no, I don't mean weed.

But a signing like this one suggest to me that LA is simply a desirable place for an FA to want to live.

Especially a vet nearing the end of his career. Signing with us pays his family's way to settle in LA in a desirable place to live after football.

I honestly believe that we will see our team become a pretty desirable destination for FAs. I mean, there isn't much right now to make a FA feel confident in our organization to develop a competitive team. Yet we land a top FA LOT on the 1st day.

I think we'll see more of this now and in the years to come.
