I'm just watching the trend. It's a long flight, but the year to year increase in London games to me is something that indicates what they're thinking.
And I'm no business mogul, but what would that do to the TV income? I would guess they'd get a supplemental, i.e. European deal with one of the networks over there for some big money.
I guess for me it comes down to betting on the greed of the owners. I don't think they give a F as a group about the players suffering through that trip. IMO they probably have a 20 year plan that includes a European division as well, seriously. And if I'm right it won't take long for the London thing to start showing through, as I'd think it would be a move that takes place in somewhere around 5 years from now. The $100M or whatever they'd have to pay would be made up for in TV deal, merchandising, etc most likely.
