You tag Tru and then spend your first pick on a CB? Thats a lot of resources to 1 position.
I think its simply BPA meeting a position of need regardless of what is done in FA. If you still have a need, and a guy that fills that need is at the top of your draft board, you draft him.
That being said: I would say an interior OL, like Lamp or Feeney, an edge rusher, a CB or a WR are the 4 most likely in round 2.
Yep, you could, Dead.
Depends on how their FA plans work out.
The Tru tagging restricts their options, I'm afraid.
Nevertheless, I still expect them to sign a WR via FA. I'm personally hoping for Garcon. Almost makes too much sense.
If I'm right, then the WR position might take a backseat to CB. Mostly because of the perceived talent at the CB position in this particular draft. Remember, Tru is just a one year rental until or unless he extends.
'Course, who could disagree that OL, WR, or Edge rusher might be their BPA at #37 depending on how FA shakes out.
A solid FA period assisted by an extension of Tru can give the Rams so many great options in this draft. And I'm sensing that they are determined to have a solid FA period. It all starts there for this roster.
One way or another, there's gonna be a whole lot of new faces this spring on that practice field.
