I think Saffold, Havenstein and probably Brown are the core of this OL. I totally believe Havenstein and Brown bounce back and have better years. I like Wichmann but he might end up being their 6th/7th man.
They can and must upgrade from Robinson at LT (maybe that's Saffold, maybe not) and Barnes. Also their depth could get further upgraded from Donnal and Rhaney. Rhaney to Barnes as the backup center would be an upgrade.
In the end I think they sign one of the notable interior OL free agents and draft an OL at 69 or 112. The rest will have to come from Kromer, LaFleur and McVay elevating guys in house.
Donnal surprised last year and may have stepped up from 2015, when in fact I didn't like what I saw in him. He may be part of the mix.
But then maybe Donnal doesn't fit what Kromer wants.
And for that matter, no OL I can think of was built overnight by adding THAT many players through the draft in that short a time (2014-15). The problem with that is, not only is it difficult to do it overnight, the added thing is that they were using Boudreau/Cigs/Fisher criteria for the kind of linemen they wanted, and it just may be that that criteria doesn't fully apply to what a Kromer/McVay lineman should be. That's setting aside whether or not the individual linemen taken can play in the NFL at all.
So there's a lot to sort out.
