The great Rams defense and solid run game needed a better QB... and Vince wasn't it.

I know everyone loves the lucky TD pass to Waddy in Dallas (including myself), but Vince was 9 for 21 that day....

Good thing Hacksaw Reynolds blitzed Staubach on Roger's last TD pass, because I think Capt Comeback suffered a concussion on that play and ran out of magic late in the 4th qtr and the Rams defense did not....

BTW, the following week vs Tampa, the gunslinger Vince was 12-23 with no TD passes in the NFC Championship.. and won....
