I've found it to be really helpful for a number of reasons...
I'd say the main one for me is that I get to see the players faces.
I can judge their attitude, the ease with which they are performing, and how fast their cognition is (mainly in the gauntlet).
Of course the movement drills for crossover players are priceless... and identifying tightness in DBS is HUGE.
