I have no idea if McVay and LaFleur can reinvent the Rams offense and make it middle of the road, let alone top 5.
But there is no doubt that these two hires indicate an intent to change the entire culture and philosophy of the Rams. We'll see what they do about personnel; but coaching-wise, this is anything but nibbling around the edges.
And, whatever Goff is or can be, these two hires have as good a chance as anyone to bring it out of him.
