Pete Rose is a different type of nut job.

I would say that T.O. is Kenny Stabler for a couple of years. Stabler was blackballed for planting drugs in a reporter's car and tipped off the authorities about the reporter transporting drugs. Stabler was never going to be in the HOF while he was alive.... T.O. might see the HOF in his lifetime.

Pete Rose deserves to be forever banned from Baseball .... but not banned from the HOF ... he deserves to be in for his performance as a player.

The Pete Rose "never in the hall of fame decision" by Sports Writers is what tipped the cross-over from when Baseball stopped being America's National Pastime to Football becoming America's Pastime.
