If I could steal a line from Burgess Meridith to Rocky Balboa, the 1999 Rams would cave in the right side of the 1985 Bears face.

The 1999 Rams beat the 2000 Ravens (that same defense destroyed the league just 1 year later) defense.

plus as dominant as that 1985 team was, the scouting, physical attributes, year round training of todays athletes makes it hard for me to imagine that 1985 team (as the 1985 team rather than projected to 2017) could beat the 1999 team when you have lineman like Orlando Pace & Kevin Carter types running around.
