If you are a veteran player in demand, there's only a couple of reasons to come to the Rams.
1) Perhaps you want to live in LA for either the lifestyle or that's where your family lives.
2) Being overpaid.

Otherwise, all other things being equal, players of course want to go where they can win. I don't blame them.
This is part of what makes turning a losing organization around so very difficult.

I think the Rams will have to go for players who are mainly interested in the biggest payday, and perhaps one or two who are really loyal to McVay or to Phillips.
I can see Garcon or Jackson coming here from the Redskins, for example, by being overpaid and because of their relationship with McVay.
