Spanos and Davis .... sponging off the taxpayers.
Cities collect taxes from the revenue generated by NFL games. Hotels, restaurants, food supplies. Jobs: Sales, service staff, tech businesses, marketing businesses. Lots of economic activity comes to a city that has a NFL team.
Most cities make it a win-win ... help a team pay for part of the stadium, and reap benefits of collecting tax $$ ... a businessman has to do what is best for his investors.
Oakland: below average local income and no return from the city for tax income generated .... results in ....
team loses money and unable to make payments on financing new stadium.
Las Vegas: above average local income and a reasonable return from the city for the extra tax income generated ... results in ...
team makes money and can make payments on financing new stadium.
Cities sponging off of NFL teams doesn't make for viable NFL teams.
I want this guy wearing Horns: Jordan Westercamp
