1) When a team lacks top quality players after the HC has had final say on picks, trades, and FA for 5 years, isn't that in itself a coaching problem?
2) When a team has a unit such as the '15 OL that experiences regression on all FIVE of it's members simultaneously in '16, doesn't that point to a coaching problem?
My point? In this chicken or the egg conundrum, I think it starts with the coaching a bit more than even the players. The craftsman transcends his tools, IOW.
