In all honestly, skateboards work pretty well for moving large, heavy items.. the kick plate (that's what I call it, anyway) is great for changing direction on a dime..

Definitely more productive than falling down ten feet on your head in a half-pipe, then turning over to see your board - which had gone straight up in the air when you lost it - coming down to give you another Popeye knot on the other side of your head..
