To me that's an overgeneralization.

It doesn't account for teams like Seattle and SF making the superbowl in the recent past.

I think one of the lessons of the superbowl is don't take your lessons from just one superbowl.

Yeah, no offense to rockram, who knows more about football than i do,
but i never buy into any "lessons of the playoff teams" posts.

I just think you can build a champion in a lot of different ways. Ya have to have
a critical mass of playmakers and role players on both offense and defense.
AND, you cant have a glaring weakness on 'any' unit. I remember Bill Walsh saying
if you have a weak unit anywhere, teams WILL exploit it.

Sometimes it also helps to have the weather on your side. Ask the old Roman Gabriel Rams
about Minnesota, or the ole Fouts Chargers about Cincinnati.
