yet no, I stand by it. spin tounge smiley I think my reason being I think there are cases when it's quite easily discernible if a penalty impacts a play or not... and I do not like an extraordinary great, talented, play being negated by something that had nothing to do with it's execution. If the line is 'grey', call it.

Here, I'll offer you this... as compromise. thumbs up smiley If a holding is called, that takes place 40yds from a brilliant catch and TD and obviously did not effect the play then call it.. but don't negate the TD... enforce it on the ensuing kickoff. - JamesJM
