If Olson is going QB coach you got to figure the OC will not be an established or former OC unless they have held a similar role working under a HC that calls the plays.

Unless he does what he SEEMS to be doing.

Which is looking at guys who have been BOTH OL coaches AND coordinators.

That's a short list and so far he has been blocked from looking at 2 guys who meet that description.

And when he does this I don't think he's looking for an OL coach. The OL coach will be a different guy. He seems to specifically want a coordinator who has been both a coordinator and an OL coach before.

There's reasons you might want to do things that way, of course.
