Is to say we need to invest/build in all the positions.

Example 1: Brady doesn't have a top-line OL or WR or RB, because he makes the rest of the offense better

Example 2: rightly or wrongly, Seahawks do not invest in the OL, because Russell Wilson makes it go

We have invested quite heavily in:
- Goff
- Gurley
- Tavon
- Robinson and Havenstein
- defense: 3 1st round picks in DL, 1 1st round pick in LB + 1 big FA signing (Barron), franchise in Tru

No team can win with a 'spread the bets' approach by investing across the entire team. We should discuss where we do NOT invest.
