I didn't get it then.
I watched him a year ago and thought he was at least a 2nd RD talent.
He looked clearly better to me than a lot of those guys who went ahead of him.
And I'm not just talking about his winner label and leadership skills. I thought he had better arm talent than what the draft experts were saying.
Drew Boylhart had Dak as a 2nd rounder and the 3rd best QB in the draft. Yet he ends up in the 4th Round and 6th QB. I remember him telling me the Rams would be wise to take Prescott with one of their 2nd rounders. I asked Myles Simmons to check out Dak at the Senior Bowl and he had no idea who I was talking about. Dak wasn't even on his list.
Smart guys like Elway screwed up. Weird.
Even the Cowboys tried to screw it up, but the Raiders bailed them out by trading up for Cook.
Sometimes I think I'm watching a different game than these guys.
