100+ yards and leading team to NFC championship game with a very good catch is a good days work.
Cook was injured most of the season and the announcers said that when good returned is when the Packers started to take off.
While what you say is true, that Cook is likely to be a goat dropping a pass, the point is, he would never be running the patterns where he makes these catches with Fisher. Fisher finds way to take talent and tie it up. I expect some highs and lows with Cook going forward with the Packers, but they key word is "Highs". He is going to have more and more as the chemistry develops. With Fisher, it is go out 8 yards and turn around. (Not run all the way across the field on a rollout and find a seam in the zone on the sidelines 35 yards down the field.)
It is clear watching games that Fisher limits offensive talent with his prehistoric approach. I am sure you can find a couple of exceptions with the Rams, but way to few given the body of work.
