now in his 9th season and in the twilight of his career playing with the Cheatriots, is how we first looked at William Hayes in his first few years with us, playing for the Rams. Everybody used to love Hayes his first few years, because he 1) was a part time, spot player who came in to relieve the starters, 2) was energetic and very effective when he came in to play, and 3) came at a very inexpensive price. I think that is what the Cheatriots see in what Chris Long brings to them. And now that Hayes is a starter playing full time on our D-Line, he seems to have lost some of his luster. His impact as a full time player hasn't increased much at all, from when he was a part time role player.
