Heard this from one of my friends who is pretty connected to the Rams...apparently When Rams reached out to Gruden about the job he let them know right away he wasn't interested in coming back to coaching but did offer his help in offering up a name- Sean McVay


Think the Rams liked what they saw with him and couldn't wait around for Shanny and risk losing this guy to SF, so they made the bold move and pulled the trigger.


Wasn't my first choice, but was a close second....still gonna root like hell for him to get this thing turned around!!!!
