If Shanahan doesn't want it- and that's totally fine if that's true- and McDaniels really does end up in SF, the Rams' best candidates are McVay and Lynn- and both I think are good options.

I do think McVay could be what this team could use. More of a hands-on teacher, detail-oriented. Fisher had become more of the CEO stand-in-the-background-with-arms-folded type. And too much of a Father Flanagan. And obviously McVay has the tools to develop Goff, which let's be honest is the lynch pin to this franchise. Goff is either developed or the Rams are picking 1st overall in 2019. I don't see much in between.
