Who actually thought he could turn it around....and what was he going to turn around for that matter....His best was 7-8-1.....his other stuff was around the same area.....what was he turning around and when was he going to do it?....
He improved from our previous people....but he did nothing but stay the same after the initial improvement.....He turned it as far as he could....let it go..... Fish improved the team from bad to so-so competitive...but it started slipping back to status quo....learning to live with losing and hoping to get out of it......
We need a kick ass type leadership from the top who can really get that type coach.....we need a team who gets the idea from the top and picks that type coach..he in hand picks those type position guys...and the staff picks those type draft picks.....we need a team who is the most knowledgeable and fundamental out of college and have coaches who just add to that area...
That occurs and watch what happens.....won't be any "I don't know......we had good practices....we wish..we want" type of speeches from the players by regurgitating what the coach speak starts......Mouths will be shut.... players will do what have to do....coaches will demand it......Then and only then will the Horns be a real force.....
