That they would pull the plug on Chip after one season under those circumstances (roster bereft of talent and a clueless GM-owner combo) shows how truly ####ed the 49er organization is.
Not saying Chip was the second coming of Walsh, but given the circumstances he, like Tomsula before him, had no chance (except against a certain team from Southern California, of course).
