Because he's still involved in football.

Because Kirwan and Clayton think he is a good judge of talent.

Because what he says makes sense.

And because Every. Single. Time. He is interviewed he takes full responsibility for how they handled Bradford as a young QB; "We did Sam such an injustice but never surrounding him with good NFL skilled talent. To his credit he's never talked ill of any of us but what we did around him was wrong.."
