Yes, padding his stats. Has Goff ever led any type of 4th qtr comeback? Did he elevate his team to wins against good quality teams? Did he make critical drive sustaining passes on 3rd downs to keep his team from falling behind further? It seems like his Cal teams were 3 and out against quality competition and falling behind. He was then asked to throw a bunch of passes to try to mount failed comebacks racking up big yardage and TDs while the game was out of reach. Nothing he did in college really makes me think Goff will be a great QB in the NFL.
