I do believe that he is unfairly targeted
teams send film and make points to officiating crews all the time
around the NFL some players get flags at a higher rate than others.
some are clearly part of campaigns by teams to point at certain players style of play as being of a type.
many clubs can overcome penalties, and so they don't make rash decisions regarding their players.
in the case of GRob, his rate of gaining negative attention is a statistic that can't be ignored.
there are a number of flags now that I can see as non-issues that have indeed been "awarded" Mr. Robinson.
it's nearly impossible to ignore that his in on the radar of the backfield judges.
to wit, putting the oldest guy on the team over at LT in the form of Roger Saffold makes so much sense. Not so easy to put him in the limelight.
Saffold is among the wiser players on this team, too.
Not sure if GRob just rubs folks the wrong way or comes off with a poor image; Of the "busts" we've had at LT since the departure of Orlando Pace, GRob had the most promise.
promise, and talent are the cursory words used with the guys who have yet to achieve their accolades. pro sports are littered with these kids.
which brings me back to the coaching staff, accountability, and the on-going search for the new man.
I am enjoying all the different names being reviewed, but I just can't stop my hope that they get this done sooner than later. So much to attend, too.
Including the offensive line assessment, and restructure.
