I thought Pegula made a terrible choice when he hired him so quickly after the Jets fired him, but I give Pegula some credit for not prolonging the inevitable like the Rams did with Fisher. 2 years and OUT!
Rex is supposed to be a defensive guru, but he took over the #4 ranked defense in the NFL and the defense ended up ranking #19 in both years Rex was head coach.
He probably would have more success without the head coaching responsibilities and just as a DC, but I wouldn't want any part of him. His brother Rob should NEVER get another job coaching in the NFL.
