I understand the emotions. With this proviso.
Whether WE are demanding or patient, it makes absolutely no difference either way.
I just think it;s reasonable to assume that teams can go from losing to winning if they score on the coaching hire. That is never impossible, no matter what. Heck we've already seen it. The Rams were at one point the losingest team of the entire 1990s.
So to me, saying I can't rule out a good hire which has good effects---that's not being demanding or patient, it's just being realistic.
