Robinson had brutal short times...and wasn't a quick/fluent speaker. sure there is a study out there somewhere between the connection between ones physical reaction time and ones verbal reaction time...anecdotally I know it's true. in a sport of microseconds reaction times rule.... I look for the trash talking guy, used car saleman bs banter from these kids.. hate the slow processor types who struggle for words which Robinson was in his interviews..really dislike low wonderlic/slow processor types.
also known literally hundreds of top athletes who are introverts who can't handle pressure...takes a certain ego to play knowing millions of people.might be watching. Well grounded Christians or loud mouthed jerks get bonus points from me.. One of my issues with Goff is his interviews
also want the kids from the big conferences. They are used to big audiences. Quick was a big fish from a small pond. always dominated at camp and college but often folds up in live games.. Kendricks is a good kid but was only the 3rd option at Wisconsin..never mattered if he made a big play or not. seen so many drops from him in key situations to know he doesn't handle pressure well. I want the star. When North Carolina was winning all those national girls soccer championships their HC said he only recruited conceited ball hogs. He wanted big egos..said he would teach them to pass later.
