Snead pizzed away too many top picks and blew selections.
This stuff about Fisher making decisions vs. Snead is hogwash. I personally hated when posters came up with the clever idea to called Snead and Fisher Snisher because of the way they worked together. So cutesy. Well, did they work together or didn't they? It does matter. These two were tied at the hip. These two made WAY too many bad draft decisions.
If Fisher made decisions, then Snead was part of those decisions. They, by all accounts, worked together. Picks like Greg Robinson single-handedly get you fired. The strategy to draft all those linemen in one year was stupid too. The strategy to not bring in a solid vet in the OL to help was stupid. The strategy to not get help at the wide out position was stupid. The strategy to lose Jenkins was stupid. The strategy to give Austin $42 million and use him like a guy who should be at about $20 million was stupid. We hear that Fisher did want Goff...didn't want Goff...blah blah blah.
The tandem failed...Fisher...Snead. Both should be fired.
Add to it...Demoff. Somehow, he gets this "top 5" cap management guy. We couldn't sign Jenkins on a roster full of schmucks. Teams like Dallas, who are in "cap hell" year after year, seem to keep their guys. "Oh...but Kev is such a good PR guy!" What Demoff is is a hack...a croanie...a liar. He is far far far from a top cap guy. They should jettison his arse too.
Aaron Donald should be extended immediately. Will he? Not with this core of clowns running the show.
And here is the problem going forward...Kroenke is making decisions about guys at the top. Kroenke knows squat. What he should do is hire a consultant to do the hiring. Bring in a guy like Polian as a consultant to build the team of GM and coach. Kroenke and Demoff are not qualified to do so.
