A win over the 49ers. Like a lot of you guys, my love affair with the Rams goes back a long ways (1970, I was still 7 years old). I know this year is another in a long line of embarrassing seasons, but for me, going back a long time, only 1 thing matters; beat the 9ers.
Winning seasons are nice, being relevant in November is a bonus, the playoffs are a treat, but for me, regardless of the Rams (or SF's) record, the feeling at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon after beating them is as good as it gets. To get a win tomorrow (no matter how ugly)
would be like getting an extra present under the tree. It is the season of miracles . .

Couldn't agree more. I want to see the Rams get another win before the year is over. This is the game that matters. We have to erase the Monday night meltdown and it starts here. I can't stomache an off season knowing we lost to these guys twice. Like you said, a win feels like an extra gift under the tree and I'm ready for it!!
