I have to feel that there is something about the Rams structure as an organization these don't like.
Grits
Demoff and Kroenke weren't foolish enough to give him full control over personnel moves. They won`t have to if they don't want to.
How bout they sign a GM first and then sign a head coach like Kyle Shanahan? I guess very possibly because they already have their GM in Snead.
I`d rather have Snead and Shanahan in place with both getting designated roles rather than the coach having full personnel control like Fisher did. Let Snead actually be a GM if he`s staying.
Regarding Shanahan, he seems like the type of guy the Rams need for Goff and this offense. With the Rams current subpar at best offensive personnel and a lack of draft picks, anyone would be completely unrealistic if they expected too much offensive improvement any time soon. It will take time. I`d be more concerned with which DC and scheme they bring in.
