There in lies the main problem in my mind.....When you ask to see what he has to offer in my eyes that would/could be hard to ascertain if indeed the coaching is really lacking. Until the line coaching is adjusted IMO we don't really know how any of them, outside of Saffold can/have play this pro game. Havs looked promising last year but the games under his belt are too small to know for sure. IMO he did what he did last season by just him playing to what he learned before coming to the RAMS hence is backward fall this season..... Battle may be like Havs, but still with this staff I just can't/wouldn't trust a little film on a raw PS type player.....
Play him may not be bad, but IMO it's wouldn't do anything to make the jump out and figure him as a keeper, than again I guess it couldn't hurt to just GRob off the field......Until a new line coach comes on board.
Again, you may be very well right. My only point is that some of these players who haven't received in-game reps should be afforded the opportunity to display their abilities
solely for evaluation for the new staff. Perhaps the new OL coach will see some technical mistakes that he feels he'll be able to correct to make Battle a more productive player. And yes, to some extent, you can do that with camp film, but I think we can all agree that what goes on in practice is a lot different that what occurs in actual games.
