Innovative offensive mind, took a team from mediocre to Super Bowl champ, might see the time is right to leave the Saints (Brees on last legs) and has a daughter in college in California. Downside under contract might require compensation. However maybe he could force his way out/encourage the Saints not to ask for the moon for him so they won't have to pay his big contract. Though I know with him as HC GW is definitely gone, Payton seems secure enough to hire an aggressive innovative DC to handle that side of the ball that can work with the talent the Rams have on the roster. He did it before hiring GW and with the 'other' Ryan brother, to varying degrees of success, but they were name brand experienced coordinators not just FOSP that needed work. I initially was on the Haley train, and keeping GW, and wouldn't mind but doubted our getting Jim Harbaugh but I find the Sean Payton idea as my next favorite option.
