Being a diehard Boise State and Los Angeles Ram fan, I would love nothing more than to see Petersen coaching this team. He was a great coach here at BSU and he clearly left his mark by putting BSU on the national stage. It was unfortunate to see him go to Washington, but he is about personal growth, both for him and his players. He is a great motivator, knows his X's and O's and he makes good players believe and play great and now we're seeing what he can do with better players at Washington. I think at some point he might want to coach at the next level but I think right now it is too soon. Coach Pete is also about getting things done and I still think he has some unfinished work to do at Washington.
Having said that, if Washington were to beat Alabama and go on to win the National Championship and Kroenke throws a lot of money at him, who knows?!?
