The players were not oblivious to what has been going on for the past couple of months. They've had time to make positive contributions in this thing. Unless they've been living under a rock or are truly stupid, they had to have known that Fisher would be out the door with continued losses. IF they knew that.. and if they really loved and respected the man as much as they say they do, they'd have buckled down and each one of them would have DONE THEIR JOBS if nothing else but to protect him. So either they really didn't think as highly of him as they say they do .... or... they're truly stupid (or incapable of producing because they're just not that talented).
