I'll bet that GW and McGuiness declined. Maybe there is just too much loyalty to Fisher either in reality or in Demoff or Kroenke's eyes.
Other than enthusiasm and a dad who was a HC, this has to be a desperation pick. Not that it really matters. What matters is not wins, but that the Rams fans have been given 2 things: 1) knowledge that Kroenke is paying attention, and 2) hope.
GW has wanted to be a head coach his entire career, and had a big blowing out with Snyder when he didn't get the job in DC.
