I have several friends at UCI. One is a computer analysis researcher who also is a professor of something to do with electronic research in the organic sciences. He plays with his machines a lot when he has time. He has come up with an interesting hypothesis. He argues that for about 75% of the time you can tell how well a season will go for a team by the very first play of the pre-season.
Does anyone remember the very first play of the Rams pre-season this year? Ironically, it was the very first play for the Rams return to the Coliseum since...?
