Personally, I just don't know. I know it's never good to totally blow up an offensive line but with these guys, it cannot be any worse. Rams HAVE to hit the FA market BIG TIME in 2017.
The fact that they've struggled recently aside.
We have SEEN Rams lines that were 100% talent deficient from tackle to tackle.
Do you have any idea how many different OLs the Rams have fielded since their major OL injury epidemic started in 2007? It's more than a few dozen. And with all those replacement players, they have fielded some doozies.
Try late 2007: Barron Steussie Romberg Brown Gorin (that's Milford Brown).
Or early 2012: Hunter Smith Turner Dahl Richardson
I don;t know when or how this OL will come together, but check out it's avg. starts---it's still lagging in that category. They say a good OL should average around 44.8 starts. The line they fielded Sunday averages around 25.2. So they're not there yet.
I don;t know how many will hold up going forward but it is not just bad across the board in terms of individual players. As a UNIT yes but that can be cured in time.
