Horrible display. No heart. Rivera is gone at the end of the season and I think Cam's best days are behind him. He's not enjoying the game anymore.
When he's happy and playing with a great D on team where he can dictate the need to run/pass he is an amazing talent and threat.
But as a true leader through good times and bad? He's not the guy by a long shot.
And his footwork is absolutely atrocious for an NFL QB. He sees things late and forces balls where he has no business throwing them. He gets away with his share but more and more his chickes are coming home to roost.
As for Riverboat Ron, I think the Panthers will make the mistake of bring him back and claiming this year to be a "one-off" but this team is only going to regress along with its QB as I have serious doubts about how much longer 59 will be playing and Davis too. Those 2 inside LB's are 9where) the heart and soul of that entire team.
I think you nailed it perfectly with this team. I may be wrong about Rivera getting fired after this season, but I will guarantee it right now that this team will not make the playoffs next year and he will be gone after next, unless they make other big changes. I just don't see them getting rid of Cam and I think there will be more problems in Pantherland next season. I think Cam is a cancer when he`s not winning and things aren't going his way. I don't think he gives a crap at all right now. I wouldn't want this guy my leader, that's for sure. I wouldn't be surprised to see him retire in the next few years.
