I have no idea if Fisher will stay or not - but this idea that the move - and now even the two-year "SPECTER" of it, LOL!! - prevented him from being a good, productive head coach and improving his team is just ridiculous.

The endless excuses that are trotted out for this guy go SO far beyond anything else I've ever heard with a football coach.

And, uh, it seems to me that the Raiders coach has had to deal with the same (apparently disabling) "specter of relocation" for the past couple of years...and that team seems to be doing alright, no?

Yes, this absurd. Nobody who is a fan cares what he did above and beyond coaching. What we care about is winning which he has not done since he has been the coach. But like Wyche said this interview with Demoff was done before the horrible last minute loss to the Dolphins and then the butt kicking by the Saints and before the Eric Dickerson situation. The only encouraging thing is neither Kroenke or Demoff will broach the subject of extending Jeff Fisher and you know why? Because the know damn well what the fanbase and everyone else in town thinks about that. They are scared to talk about that.

Demoff statements seem to be PR mode and trying to keep from inflaming the issue but he's failing by not addressing the issue.

My feeling is we will hear zero from the Rams on Fisher's status until after Jan 2nd.
