Disagree....like I said, you take the easy 8 point lead and force the other team to basically have to score two TD's just to tie...especially at home.
As in two point conversion is like a fourth and goal from the 3 yardline...it's a TD worth two points.
You never ever go for two up by seven IMO.
You have a much better chance of making the extra point then making a 2pt conversion and your defense has a much better chance of stopping a two point conversion then blocking an extra point if the other team does score a TD.
If they make it, worst case scenario was OT, which you got anyway.
Only thing that beats you is they score a TD and then go for 2 for the win like Del Rio did in NO this year, but that is rare, only seen it twice. Other was Mike Tice when Vikes did that.
Plus, PATs no longer automatic....

There are multiple charts out there you can look up on the old Internet and none of them would suggest going for two when up by seven at any time in the game......unless you are having kicking issues or the weather calls for thinking twice about it.
Btw, do you know who came up with the "chart"???
