IMO? And don't take it personally, I am aiming at a type of perception which I just think is incorrect. It's not one person and I really do believe it's incorrect.

Once Goff gets going, this kind of view, what I quote there, will diminish.

And it didn't have to be just Goff---it could be any starting caliber qb, which is what they've been missing.

Once they have a starting caliber qb up and functioning, it will be apparent that the problem was simply missing that.

This is assuming Goff IS that, which I think he is.
