Bob Waterfield
Deacon Jones
Norm Van Brocklin
Bob Waterfield - On April 24, 1943, he married actress Jane Russell, his sweetheart from Van Nuys High School who had subsequently gained fame as a popular pin-up girl.
I had a chance to talk with Jane Russell and she told me that the years with Bob & the Rams were wonderful. Their house was the teams pool party house for all the players and their families. She was particularly fond of Pete Rozelle. Bob used to loan his Cadillac out to his teammates if they had a big date!

#3 – The only rules not meant to be broken are those of love and virtue.
#2 – Memory is what you did. Life is what you’re doing.
#1 – All men are created equal. After that, it’s up to you.
Norm Van Brocklin, a heavy cigarette smoker, suffered a number of illnesses, including a brain tumor. After it was removed, he told the press, "It was a brain transplant. They gave me a sportswriter's brain, to make sure I got one that hadn't been used."[46] He died of a heart attack in 1983 at age 57, five weeks after former teammate Bob Waterfield.
