No way.

We have been fighting the cap every year with a young team while somehow, someway other veteran teams that are winners continue to thrive.

Top 5? Not even close.

Well mr. jemach.. there are certain posters on the Herd board that I take very serious when it comes to the draft, coaching staff, player personnel, salary cap and other various parts of the Rams organization.

I don't recall you having a history on this board lately posting an in depth breakdown of the Rams salary cap by every individual player on a regular annual basis. The salary cap is far more complex than how close the Rams have to spend via free cap space dollar amount at the start of each new fiscal year.

The details of each players contract and how it affects the salary cap if and when they're cut/traded/released combined with dead money (front loaded/back loaded) is just as telling as how much the team is under the cap at the start of each new calendar year at the beginning of Free Agency.

Demoff structures many of his big cap eaters with escape plans that can free up money upon their release sooner than later via the length/structure of their contracts etc..

I myself have posted in depth details of the Rams entire roster history going back to Fisher's hiring, salary cap room details along with every single players cap number and future number for this year and next year along with when they're scheduled for free agency. (UFA/RFA/EFA)

I'm not tooting my horn sir, but I've done the work and just laying out facts that many on this board are aware of. Check my posting history.

Have the Rams been tight in cap space on the books the last few years? Sure but there is more than meets the eye than just what the numbers how tight a team is squeezed up against the cap at each new season.

Demoff isn't perfect and has signed some not so great contracts but overall imo.... Demoff is a top 5 Cap manager.. He is a grand chess master with contracts more often than not.. The total cap space totaled on the books can be very misleading year in and year out.
