The running game is a problem for multiple reasons, but the root is coaching.
The biggest issue is creating space which is a problem with the entire offense (Passing and Running), the packages on offense allows the defense to clutter up the running lanes.
A #2 issue, is they are fundamentally challenged as a team on offense.
And again, the same guys did it before. Not just last year. These coaches were the only ones on the planet to get something out of Stacy, for example.
I think there will be different advocates of different views. They will all speak with deep authoritative certainty. It's the coaches. It's some of the coaches. It's personnel. It's the philosophy. It's the qb.
Personally I have not seen one take on it that to me makes complete sense. I think it's a combination of things and I don't think all of it falls within the "blame somebody" matrix.
