The reports that Fisher is getting extended and will be the Rams HC next year are out there.
I appreciate the reasons given, I just don't agree with them. Just because Fisher has gone through a lot in the move to LA doesn't mean he should get a pass on the job he has done with the product on the field.
If this team finishes with another losing record this year while continuing to playing the most boring brand of football in the NFL over the past 5 years under Fisher I think it would be a huge mistake to keep him.
Maybe Kroenke is extending Fisher, but it will be interesting to see how that goes down with the LA crowd. How ugly can LA make it for Kroenke if he stands firm in his support of Fisher? That's what we are about to see over the next 2 months.
The only possible relief for Fisher is if he plays Goff and the kid flashes. Cause if Goff shows nothing or doesn't play this year, Kroenke is taking a huge risk if he stays with Fisher in 2017. The risk is that Fisher continues to stink it up for another year then Kroenke is stuck with him until 2018 and LA may lose total interest in the Rams.
