It's still OK to clobber Cam Newton's head, apparently

[ftw.usatoday.com]

Is Cam's complete unawareness that someone is running full speed directly at him.

it's one thing to keep your eyes down field, it's another to have zero awareness of your surroundings.

Now I don't like the hit itself and it probably should have been a flag (Peter King said it was "borderline" in his opinion) but I'm sorry, this is one reason he at times takes such hard hits, he's flat-footed and gets hit front side from people he either does not see or he for some reason thinks won't hit him.

R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..

Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM

No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
