Put the kid in at QB, simplify the scheme as much as you need to for the gameplan to be something he can handle. Spread the defense out, hammer the ball in the run game, and let Goff take shots downfield off of play action. IMO there is a chance his throwing talent can make up for inexperience if they are careful not to put too much on him.
I agree and being at the game yesterday, I thought Goff was going to start the second half, the spark alone would have gone a long way... Fisher is too loyal and too stubborn to make the change though....I predicted Goff wouldn't start until we've been eliminated and it looks like that's the way it's heading...but at the end of the day players HAVE TO MAKE PLAYS.
The drops and the missed TD throw to Quick killed us yesterday, not Boras.
